Jparts is an independent 3D printing studio crafting functional parts, desk accessories and one-off custom work — printed in Bristol and shipped across the UK.
From an idea sketched at a desk to a part in your hand — in about a week.
Jparts started with a single filament printer and a very specific annoyance: nobody sold a cable clip that actually fit the rail under our desks. So we printed our own. It worked. Then a friend wanted one. Then a stranger did too.
Today we run a small fleet of FDM and resin machines with a simple rule we haven't broken since: if we wouldn't be happy with the part on our own desk, it doesn't go in the post.
Machines are located in Bristol, UK. Every print is made to order — we don't stockpile, so nothing sits on a shelf.
What we stand for
The four things we check every part against before it ships.
Engineered, not just printed
Every model is checked for strength, tolerances and fit before it reaches a printer. We tune layer height, infill and orientation per part — not one setting for everything.
Precision you can measure
FDM parts hold ±0.2 mm and resin ±0.05 mm. Snap-fits line up, threads catch and brackets sit flush because we calibrate each machine daily.
Waste-conscious making
We print with the right amount of material, not the easy amount. Failed prints are recycled into filament where possible and packaging is plastic-free.
People over process
You talk to the person who will actually print your part. No ticket queues, no bots — just real makers who reply in hours, not days.
How a Jparts part is made
Design review
We sanity-check every file for printability, wall thickness and support needs before committing a single gram of filament.
Calibrated printing
Parts are oriented for strength and surface finish, then printed on machines that are re-calibrated every morning.
Post-processing
Supports are removed, surfaces smoothed, threads chased and resin parts cured and cleaned to a consistent finish.
Quality gate
Every part is dimension-checked against the model and visually inspected. Only parts that pass ship — always.
